Cinematography isa form of writingwith light.

I came up through the camera department — 1st AC, then second cinematographer — learning discipline and the quiet craft of collaboration from technicians I'm still trying to live up to. Before any of that, I trained in CGI, VFX and animation. That grounding hasn't left; it's still how I plan a shot and read a room full of light, and it's what lets me push for something ambitious while knowing exactly what it costs to build in post.

Independent since 2019. Music videos, short documentaries, branded film, stock work for platforms like Shutterstock — narrative, commercial, documentary, whatever the story needs. I'm drawn to imagery with some heat in it, but I try not to bring the same look to every project. The work should look like the thing it's for, not like me.

Alongside the camera I run AeroFleet Drones for aerial work, and I co-founded The Three Headed Cat Studio, a production and post house. Off set I'm usually outside somewhere dark with a camera pointed straight up — astrophotography is the reminder of why I picked this up in the first place.
